I became a Registered Dietitian in 2013.  I completed my Dietetic Internship through Keene State College in New Hampshire, a rigorous year and a half post-baccalaureate program including master's level courses and work in the local nutrition community.
I received a Bachelor of Science in Food Science and Human Nutrition from the University of Maine.

I am passionate about food and nutrition and love talking to people about it.

I support the local food movement and enjoy growing food at home. When not at work, I enjoy playing in the garden, dancing, hiking, and spending time with my family, including my Golden Retriever, Kota.

My particular areas of interest include digestive health, ancestral ways of eating, and optimizing nutrition while on a restricted diet.

In addition to my private practice, I consult with the local Head Start program of Waldo County.  I write a monthly “Nourishing Nutrition” article in the local Free Press.  They are also posted here under Articles
